In the fallout of the Aug. 3 shooting massacre in an El Paso Walmart that left 22 dead, and which reportedly targeted Mexicans and Mexican-Americans specifically, fear over more shootings has rippled across the country.

Predictably, men with guns have instigated new “copy cat”-style threats, panics, and other doofus stunts, sending shoppers running.
