The dust is settling on yesterday’s Israeli election. We now know pretty clearly the number of seats each party will get. We also know the number of seats by bloc. Let’s start with the blocs. 55 seats for the rightist bloc; 56 for the center/center-left bloc. The remainder are in the hands of Avigdor Lieberman’s Yisrael Beiteinu party, whose feud with Netanyahu and his desire to clip the wing of the ultra-orthodox religious parties forced the election.
