White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders complained about Democrats’ “baseless attacks” against Attorney General Bill Barr on Wednesday.

“AG Bill Barr served President George H.W. Bush honorably as AG and has done the same for President Trump,” Sanders tweeted. “Democrats only disgrace and humiliate themselves with their baseless attacks on such a fine public servant.”

The tweet is the White House’s first response after the Senate Judiciary Committee wrapped up its hearing with the attorney general over his handling over Robert Mueller’s report.
