House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-NY) confirmed Tuesday that former Acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker will return to Congress to “clarify” his testimony after a contentious hearing during which Whitaker refused to engage in many lines of questioning.
I want to thank Mr. Whitaker for volunteering to meet with us to clarify his @HouseJudiciary testimony, and I look forward to working with Ranking Member @RepDougCollins to schedule that meeting in the coming days. https://t.co/ZCrJbyfS6e

Whitaker will have to address a New York Times story from last week saying that President Donald Trump asked Whitaker to try to install a Trump-friendly attorney at the head of the Michael Cohen probe. Committee members are trying to determine if Whitaker has already perjured himself.
