Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) on Saturday rebutted former Vice President Joe Biden’s claim during a recent speech that Vice President Mike Pence is “a decent guy“.

“I’m sorry. I followed Pence’s history on LGBTQ Americans, and I don’t think that is a decent position,” Warren told a reporter who asked about Biden’s comment, per Iowa Starting Line. “I disagree.”

“You don’t think the Vice President is a decent man?” the reporter asked.

“No,” Warren responded.

Pressed if there was anyone in the current administration “that you would see as decent,” per Iowa Starting Line, Warren said it was a “tough question” given how many people “in the President’s inner circle” have pleaded guilty or been charged in the course of special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe, in addition to the numerous scandals plaguing Trump’s Cabinet leadership.

“This is the most corrupt administration in living memory,” she said. “That’s why we gotta be in this fight.”

Biden, who’s praised Pence in the past, eventually hedged on his comment about the vice president’s decency following criticism from many on the left, including former candidate for New York City mayor Cynthia Nixon.
