President Donald Trump has often talked about his close relationship with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. Now, his administration seems to be working to push the relationship along, as it considers opening a liaison office in North Korea, and letting the Koreans open one in America.

A liaison office was floated during the Clinton administration, but the plan fell apart when the North Koreans wouldn’t let the U.S. diplomat bring in any documents without inspection.
