President Donald Trump on Sunday night vehemently backtracked on his apparent acknowledgement of President-elect Joe Biden’s victory in the election.

“I WON THE ELECTION!” Trump tweeted shortly before midnight, peddling the lie once again.

And a few hours earlier, he tweeted “Why does the Fake News Media continuously assume that Joe Biden will ascend to the Presidency” (the answer is that the Democrat won the election).

The posts were a reversal of the President seeming to finally admit on Sunday morning that he had lost the race, although he did so while baselessly asserting for the umpteenth time that the election was fixed against him.

“He won because the Election was Rigged,” Trump tweeted of Biden.

Though it’s been over a week since the former vice president was officially projected as the winner, Trump has refused to concede and his administration continues to block Biden’s transition process. There is no evidence that the election was “rigged,” and the President’s bogus lawsuits claiming so have been collapsing one by one.

The Biden team has sounded the alarm over how Trump’s stonewalling could hinder their response to the COVID-19 pandemic and distribution of the vaccine for the virus.
