President Donald Trump’s legal team dedicated to overturning the election results jettisoned attorney Sidney Powell, who’s been continually pushing flatly bizarre conspiracy theories about the 2020 election, on Sunday.

“Sidney Powell is practicing law on her own. She is not a member of the Trump Legal Team,” Rudy Giuliani, who’s been spearheading the President’s corrupt attempts to steal the election from President-elect Joe Biden in the courts and is no stranger to conspiracy theories himself, and Trump campaign attorney Jenna Ellis said in a statement. “She is also not a lawyer for the President in his personal capacity.”

Powell had a placid response to her expulsion while further hawking baseless accusations of voter fraud.

“I understand today’s press release,” she said in a statement of her own to CBS News. “I will continue to represent #WeThePeople who had their votes for Trump and other Republicans stolen by massive fraud through Dominion and Smartmatic, and we will be filing suit soon.”

Giuliani’s statement runs opposite of Trump’s announcement that identified Powell as a member of the legal team a little over a week ago.

“Rudy Giuliani, Joseph diGenova, Victoria Toensing, Sidney Powell, and Jenna Ellis, a truly great team, added to our other wonderful lawyers and representatives!” Trump tweeted on November 14.

Powell’s ouster came after a truly batty press conference on Thursday that saw the attorney peddling evidence-free conspiracy theories about the election alleging that “communist money,” Democratic megadonor George Soros, Venezuela, and other shadowy figures had rigged the election for President-elect Joe Biden.

During a interview with right-wing media outlet Newsmax on Saturday, Powell accused Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp, a Trump loyalist, of conspiring to take down the President in the election, and promised to “blow up” the Peach State with a “biblical” lawsuit.

The attorney, who had also claimed former Trump adviser Michael Flynn was the victim of a “deep state” conspiracy back when she served as Flynn’s legal counsel, has failed to provide any evidence of her claims.
