President Trump careened from one election “scandal” to another when asked about the drama unfolding in North Carolina’s 9th Congressional District, where election officials voted to hold a new election after allegations of absentee ballot fraud.
“I condemn any election fraud,” Trump said before launching into an impossible-to-follow diatribe about some mysterious widespread voting fraud across the U.S., citing an unspecified case when 1 million votes were found.
He groped his way back to the topic at hand eventually, saying that he’d like to see the “final report” on the situation in the 9th District.
