President Trump reiterated his support for New Zealand following a deadly massacre at two mosques on Friday, condemning the “monstrous terrorist attack.”
“Earlier I spoke with Prime Minister Ardern of New Zealand to express the sorrow of our nation following the monstrous terrorist attacks in two mosques. These sacred places of worship were turned into scenes of evil killing. We’ve all been seeing what went on, it’s a horrible, horrible thing. I told the prime minister the U.S. is with them all the way, 100 percent.”
At least 49 people were murdered and many more were injured on Friday when a gunman opened fire at two mosques.
