President Donald Trump was mad online again Tuesday night, accusing his favorite television network of packing the audience for Bernie Sanders’ recent televised town hall with Sanders supporters.
Many Trump Fans & Signs were outside of the @FoxNews Studio last night in the now thriving (Thank you President Trump) Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, for the interview with Crazy Bernie Sanders. Big complaints about not being let in-stuffed with Bernie supporters. What’s with @FoxNews?

It was the second time in one day Trump tweeted angrily about Sanders’ Fox News town hall. Earlier Tuesday, he said that the network and the “audience” — he used scare quotes — were “so smiley and nice” with Sanders, which he said was “very strange.”
TPM hasn’t verified Trump’s claims about the constitution of the town hall crowd, though there were pro-Trump protesters photographed outside of the event. Then again, Trump has consistently misstated the crowd sizes at his campaign rallies.
Asked for comment, a spokesperson for Fox News pointed to two articles from local Allentown, PA paper The Morning Call, one of which reported: “How the audience for the town hall was picked: Fox reached out to various political and local groups in the area and mined requests to attend after it publicly announced the event. Fox said ‘hundreds’ of people are on the waiting list.”
