President Trump dug into his belief that Democrats are “anti-Jewish” when asked about some Democratic presidential candidates’ decision to skip the American Israel Public Affairs Committee conference this year.
“The Democrats have very much proven to be anti-Israel,” he said. “There’s no question about that. And it’s a disgrace. I mean, I don’t know what’s happened to them. But they are totally anti-Israel. Frankly, I think they’re anti-Jewish.”

He’s cast the same aspersions before. When Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) faced criticism for her remarks about AIPAC and pro-Israeli advocates’ “allegiance to a foreign country,” Trump called Democrats anti-Jewish and tweeted about a group that encourages Jewish people to leave the Democratic Party.
