Alva Johnson, a former Trump campaign aide, dropped her lawsuit against the President for allegedly forcibly kissing her and enforcing discriminatory payment practices, conceding that the President is “great at propaganda.”
“I’m fighting against a person with unlimited resources, and repeatedly the judicial system has failed to find fault in his behavior,” she told the Daily Beast. “That’s a huge mountain to climb.”
Johnson initially filed her lawsuit in February. U.S. District Judge William Jung dismissed the suit in June, saying that the complaint was a “political lawsuit, not a tort and wages lawsuit,” but allowed her to redraft it if she wished.
Johnson said that she was on the receiving end of an outpouring of hate from Trump fans, calling the experience “very scary because a lot of his supporters are fanatics.”
“He has proven to be great at propaganda,” she added. “They do a great job of changing the narrative, even when we see things with our own eyes.”
