The National Republican Congressional Committee’s (NRCC) chief financial officer, Rob Jentgens, resigned from his post this month after a majority of House Republicans voted against certifying President Joe Biden’s victory, according to CNN.
Jentgens was reportedly livid that the GOP lawmakers had still voted against certification even after a violent mob of President Donald Trump’s supporters stormed the Capitol.
Michael McAdams, the NRCC’s communications director, confirmed Jentgens’ departure to CNN.
