Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) stood by her much-publicized profanity on Tuesday, saying that she still wants to impeach President Donald Trump, but regrets distracting from the shutdown.
“I won’t apologize for being upset or angry,” she said on “Democracy Now.” “I do apologize for the use of my words distracting us.”
“I didn’t expect this kind of attention and attacks on what I said,” she added. “Although I still want to impeach him.”
