While it may not match with his prison garb, former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort gets to keep his prized ostrich skin jacket, along with all the other pieces in his animal skin outwear wardrobe, worth thousands of dollars, CNN reported.
The FBI and Justice Department have seized most of Manafort’s properties and assets, worth about $36 million, which will be used to pay back his debts to both banks and in back taxes.
But the prized pelts — a python bomber jacket worth $18,500, a camel hair coat worth $6,500, the infamous ostrich jacket worth $15,000 and a $9,500 ostrich vest — were not part of the forfeiture, per CNN.
