Sen. Ben Sasse (R-NE) used a colorful example to sharpen his point on the threat posed by foreign hacking during Wednesday’s Senate Judiciary hearing with Attorney General William Barr.
“In a digital cyber era, you don’t need a bar and a hooker anymore,” he said. “You can surround people digitally much easier and we know we’re going to be having these kinds of attacks in the future and we need to up our game.”
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) quipped: “Minus the bar and hooker, we’ll be having hearings on all of this stuff,” prompting a cringe and chuckle from Barr.
