One-term President Donald Trump has tapped his loyal bag man and personal attorney Rudy Giuliani to lead his campaign’s long-shot legal challenges to the election results, the New York Times reported Friday evening.

The Times said Giuliani was brought in as the face of the increasingly desperate effort to overrule the will of the American people, who delivered a decisive win for President-elect Joe Biden in both the Electoral College and popular vote, after the campaign’s efforts in Arizona fizzled.

Politico confirmed the Times’ reporting. Giuliani led the infamous weekend press conference at Four Seasons Total Landscaping in Philadelphia, which Trump apparently mistook for the luxury hotel in downtown Philly. As the networks projected Biden the winner of the presidency late Saturday morning, Giuliani ranted at reporters from the landscaping company’s drab headquarters, which are sandwiched between an adult bookstore and a crematorium.

Politico reported that the Four Seasons stunt scared away lawyers who no longer wanted to be associated with the campaign’s efforts.

Giuliani has dutifully pursued the President’s most dubious schemes, from trying and failing to dig up dirt on the Bidens in Ukraine to peddling bogus conspiracies involving Hunter Biden’s laptop.
