Rubio Thought ‘German Dam’ Explosion Happened In Venezuela (German Dam Is A Person)

In a now-deleted tweet from Sunday, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) announced that an explosion occurred at the “German Dam” in Venezuela and caused widespread electricity outages.

While a transformer explosion did cause massive blackouts, it certainly did not happen at any dam, much less German Dam, who is a journalist and not a water barrier.
