Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s (R-KY) dreams of bringing his buddy Secretary of State Mike Pompeo into the majority fold have been dashed.
During an interview with the “Today” show on Thursday, Pompeo appeared to dodge questions about whether he’s mulling running for Senate in Kansas in 2020 before flatly declaring he’s not doing it.
“It’s ruled out,” he said.
