House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) sent a letter to her House members Wednesday saying that President Donald Trump had a “temper tantrum” instead of attending the infrastructure meeting with congressional leadership.
“Democrats are here for the country,” she wrote. “Sadly, the only job the President seems to be concerned with is his own. He threatened to stop working with Democrats on all legislation unless we end oversight of his Administration and he had a temper tantrum for us all to see.”
Trump did not like that.
In a letter to her House colleagues, Nancy Pelosi said: “President Trump had a temper tantrum for us all to see.” This is not true. I was purposely very polite and calm, much as I was minutes later with the press in the Rose Garden. Can be easily proven. It is all such a lie!

Trump said he stormed out of the meeting because earlier in the day Pelosi had accused him of “engaging in a cover-up.” In a dueling press conference after Trump’s, Pelosi suggested that Trump lacks the “confidence” to tackle an issue the magnitude of infrastructure reform.
