Former acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe said Tuesday that when he briefed the Gang of Eight — a bipartisan cohort of the Democratic and Republican leaders of the House and Senate — on the FBI opening an investigation into President Donald Trump, no one voiced dissent.
He gave the briefing on the counterintelligence investigation soon after former FBI Director James Comey’s firing.
“That’s the important part here, Savannah,” McCabe told NBC’s Savannah Guthrie. “No one objected. Not on legal grounds, not on constitutional grounds and not based on the facts.”
Did you tell the “Gang of Eight” that you had opened a counterintelligence investigation into President Trump? @savannahguthrie asks Andrew McCabe pic.twitter.com/w4cKwAvvF9

Notably, the Gang at the time included Sen. Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), one of Trump’s greatest allies. The President has not yet responded to this newest revelation, but he has been making his feelings clear as McCabe makes the rounds for his book, “The Threat.”
Wow, so many lies by now disgraced acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe. He was fired for lying, and now his story gets even more deranged. He and Rod Rosenstein, who was hired by Jeff Sessions (another beauty), look like they were planning a very illegal act, and got caught…..

….There is a lot of explaining to do to the millions of people who had just elected a president who they really like and who has done a great job for them with the Military, Vets, Economy and so much more. This was the illegal and treasonous “insurance policy” in full action!
