House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-NY) is confident special counsel Robert Mueller will testify before Congress well before the fall.
“Well, we’re carrying on conversations with him, and he will come in, and if we have to subpoena him, we will,” he told MSNBC’s Ari Melber on Tuesday evening.
When asked if it would be by the end of the summer, Nadler said, “I think it would be way before that,” but wouldn’t say if it would occur before the end of June.
Mueller made it abundantly clear that he is not interested in testifying before Congress, but lawmakers on both sides of the aisle are interested in hearing from him.
