Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) indicated late last week that she intends to support a House-introduced resolution of disapproval of President Trump’s national emergency declaration, The Associated Press reported.

“I want to make sure that the resolution of disapproval is exactly what I think it is, because if it is as I understand it to be, I will likely be supporting the resolution to disapprove of the action,” Murkowski reportedly said Friday.

The resolution is still in the House, but is expected to pass. It’s unclear whether the resolution could pass the Republican-controlled Senate, but President Trump has vowed to veto any such resolution.
