Federal prosecutors anticipate that the trial of Roger Stone will take just five to eight days to complete, according to a Friday court filing.
Special counsel Robert Mueller’s team said that that is how long they expect it to take to present their case and question witnesses in their case against Stone for obstruction of justice, lying to Congress, and intimidating witnesses.
Stone was indicted by a federal grand jury and arrested at his Florida home in late January. He has insisted that the charges are part of a “witch hunt” against him and other supporters of President Trump.
