The judge overseeing former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort’s D.C. case won’t change her ruling that the 69-year old lied to investigators about his contacts with an alleged Russian spy, according to a Friday court order.

The ruling came after an unsealed memo from the special counsel on Wednesday suggested that lobbyist Rick Gates had given “new evidence” in the case that potentially helped his former boss.

The “new evidence” apparently concerned Manafort’s lying to prosecutors about his contacts with Konstantin Kilimnik, an associate of his in Ukraine that the FBI accuses of maintaining ties with Russian intelligence.
