Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said in an interview aired Sunday that rival Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) was a “total liar” for saying he supported universal health care, similar to the Affordable Care Act, dubbed “Obamacare.”

“Look, Ted Cruz is a total liar,” Trump said on ABC’s “This Week. “I am so against Obamacare. I’ve been saying it for two years in my speeches, I’m going to repeal and replace Obamacare. I don’t even know where he gets this.”

Trump went on to discuss the loans Cruz didn’t specify loans on financial disclosure forms.

“I mean, look, Ted is a liar. This is why nobody likes him,” Trump concluded.
