Trump: ‘I’ll Criticize Judges’ Even Though I’ve Been Told Not To (VIDEO)

During a speech at a Tuesday fundraiser for the National Republican Congressional Committee, the House Republican campaign arm, President Donald Trump disregarded the recommendation that he not lash out at judges.

“The courts are not helping us, I have to be honest with you. It’s ridiculous. Somebody said I should not criticize judges. OK, I’ll criticize judges,” Trump said while discussing court orders blocking his travel ban.

Trump’s comments came after his Supreme Court nominee, Judge Neil Gorsuch, said on Tuesday that attacks on the judiciary are “disheartening.”

“When anyone criticizes the honesty or integrity, the motives of a federal judge, I find that disheartening,” Gorsuch said at his Senate confirmation hearing when asked about Trump’s attacks on judges.
