Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) took a jab on Twitter at former Govs. Jeb Bush (R) and Mitt Romney (R) over Common Core on Thursday but goofed it up with a misspelling.
In anticipation of a reported private meeting between Bush and Romney, Paul joked on Twitter that Romney would give Bush a Common Core friendship band to Bush, who has championed the academic standards, a favorite target of conservative Republicans. But Paul misspelled “frienship” in his tweet.
The spelling error wasn’t lost on Bush spokeswoman Kristy Campbell who poked right back at Paul.

Paul’s twitter deleted the tweet and resent a new one with the correctly spelled word.
