Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday said that he opposes lifting any sanctions on Iran until it becomes less aggressive in the Middle East.
“Would Iran fund less terrorism when it has mountains of cash with which to fund more terrorism?” Netanyahu asked in his speech to Congress.
Netanyahu said that Iran would need to become less aggressive, stop funding terrorism and stop threatening Israel before any sanctions are lifted or a nuclear deal is reached.
“I don’t believe that Iran’s radical regime will change for the better after this deal,” he said.
“If Iran wants to be treated like a normal country, let it act like a normal country,” he continued.
