Larry Wilmore threw a few jokes the GOP’s way on Wednesday before getting more serious about conservative pundits attacking presidential candidate Hillary Clinton for her age.
Wilmore couldn’t resist fisking the presidential announcement speech of former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (R), noting the governor opposed the government dictating matters of religious freedom at the very same time he supported it mandating tradtional marriage.
“More and more it feels like a Republican saying he wants a small government is a little like a girlfriend who says she doesn’t mind your small penis,” the host of “The Nightly Show” said.
“It’s routine to say, but everyone knows she wants something bigger.”
But perhaps because a female GOPer has entered the race in the form of former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina, Wilmore noticed that several conservatives, such as Sean Hannity and Michael Savage, have already begun to attack Hillary Clinton in blatantly sexist terms.
“She’s aging, out of ideas, often shrill,” Hannity said on his radio show.
“Do you really wanna have that face staring at you for eight straight years? That frightening face?” Savage said on his own program.
Wilmore calmly collected himself.
“You. Can. Go. Fuck. Your. Self,” he said calmly.
