House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH)’s released a short video on Tuesday to welcome Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and talk up the bond the US has with Israel despite tensions over the foreign leader’s visit.
“America’s bond with Israel is stronger than the politics of the moment,” Boehner said in the 38-second video, adding that Netanyahu would address “a capacity crowd of Republicans and Democrats.”
Netanyahu will “receive the warm and gracious welcome he and his people deserve,” he said.
