Apparently even the coronavirus is tired of President Donald Trump and his lackeys persistently trying to steal the election.
Trump campaign adviser Corey Lewandowski, who’s been on the front lines of the President’s feeble election fraud lawsuits in states like Pennsylvania, tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday.
In the days following the election, Lewandowski has been flitting about Philadelphia, shouting conspiracy theories about illegal voting into a bullhorn outside a vote counting center and participating in Rudy Giuliani’s head-scratching press conference at Four Seasons Total Landscaping. In fact, Lewandowski reportedly believes he was infected in Philly.
The campaign adviser told CNBC that he feels “great” despite the diagnosis.
Aside from Lewandowski, two other members of the motley crew working to fight Trump’s defeat in the courts have also contracted the virus recently: Chief of Staff Mark Meadows and Trump campaign adviser David Bossie.
The stream of infections in Trumpland hasn’t stopped there: Secretary of Urban Housing and Development Ben Carson and White House Political Director Brian Jack have tested positive for COVID-19 over the past several days.
All five of the men attended the White House’s party on election night.
Additionally, Republican National Committee Chief of Staff Richard Walters also tested positive for the virus on Thursday, though the Washington Post reported that he was not at the party.
