White House counselor Kellyanne Conway decried the media — other than Fox News — and made an impassioned call for Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) to resign in response to Attorney General William Barr’s assessment of special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe.
During an interview with “Fox and Friends” on Monday, Conway claimed the media has been in cahoots with Democrats and said that Schiff, chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, should leave Congress for “peddling a lie day after day after day.”
“You in fact running around and jutting your jaw out and say, ‘I’m worried about the effect on the institutions,’ you were disparaging the institutions, you were demeaning and deriding our great democracy and the presidency of the United States,” she said, apparently referring to Schiff. “Adam Schiff should resign. He has no right as someone who’s been pedaling a lie day after day after day, unchallenged, unchallenged and not under oath. Somebody should have put him under oath and said, ‘you have evidence? Where is it?'”
