Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), having unhitched himself from President Donald Trump’s efforts to overturn the election after Trump supporters mobbed the Capitol, now finds himself at the center of MAGAland’s fury for turning his back on the man he once so slavishly enabled.
On Friday, a crowd of Trump followers swarmed Graham at an airport terminal in D.C. to hurl abuse at the GOP senator.
A video of the fracas posted by reality TV show personality and conservative “activist” Mindy Robinson shows the mob following Graham around while yelling “Traitor!” and various expletives.
“You son of a bitch! You better enjoy Gitmo, you fucking asshole! Piece of shit!” Robinson screams.
At one point, she tells the GOP senator to get used to the harassment.
“It’s going to be like this wherever you go for the rest of your life!” Robinson shouts.
Lindsey Graham just made the mistake walking by me and a mass of angry patriots at the airport in DC.
All America wants is for you to AUDIT OUR VOTE and purge this election of this massive corruption…and you won’t do it. We’re not letting this “slide” so expect more of this. pic.twitter.com/pbemr2Gcr9

In another video of the brouhaha, a man can be heard telling Graham the same thing: “This is the rest of your life, Lindsey. This is the rest of your life.”

Politico reporter Daniel Lippman posted another video filmed from a distance:

The episode was a near reenactment of when the President’s supporters hounded Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) at an airport on Tuesday over his refusal to object to certifying the election results.
Graham, far more loyal to Trump than Romney, evidently became a target for the pro-Trump crowd after he declared during Congress’ election certification session that he would not object to ratifying the votes as he had originally planned.
“Count me out. Enough is enough,” the South Carolina Republican said.
