Fox News Reporter Cited Tweet From QAnon Account On Air

During a segment on “Fox and Friends First” about free speech on college campuses, Fox News reporter Carly Shimkus brought up a tweet from a QAnon account and read it as evidence of people’s support for President Donald Trump.

Calling the account qanon76 “another Twitter user,” she read the tweet aloud: “Do not for one second underestimate the significance of this EO. Thank you, POTUS, for reestablishing and preserving free-speech rights for ALL students.”

QAnon is a bonkers conspiracy theory that Trump is fighting a “deep state” in the government, in which Democrats and other Trump foes are involved in either coups with foreign leaders or a pedophile ring.

The account that Fox cited celebrated the exposure.
