Conservative pundit and former White House official Sebastian Gorka is no longer a paid contributor at Fox News, the network confirmed to TPM Monday.

Gorka made headlines last week for his comments at the Conservative Political Action Conference, when he claimed that Democrats’ Green New Deal was a guise to “take away your hamburgers.”

“They want to take your pickup truck, they want to rebuild your home, they want to take away your hamburgers,” he said. “This is what Stalin dreamt about but never achieved.”

It is unclear if Gorka’s comments led to him breaking ties with the network, where he frequently appeared as a guest on Sean Hannity’s and Jeanine Pirro’s shows. Gorka told The Hollywood Reporter in an email that he decided not to renew his contract with Fox because he wants to focus on his new radio show.
