The suspected El Paso shooter has been placed on suicide watch on the advice of medical professionals after being isolated from other inmates in an individual cell.
According to the El Paso Times, Patrick Crusius is being held without bond while the U.S. Attorney’s Office investigates possibly bringing hate crime or domestic terrorism charges against him.
Crusius allegedly murdered 22 people on August 3 at a Walmart after apparently posting an anti-immigrant screed online.
