Embattled former House Speaker Dennis Hastert’s (R-IL) arraignment on charges he allegedly lied about paying hush money to an individual he reportedly sexually abused has been delayed.

Judge Thomas M. Durkin on Monday scheduled Hastert’s arraignment for Thursday in U.S. district court in Chicago. But Durkin on Tuesday rescheduled the arraignment for 2 p.m. CT on June 9, according to court records.

The former speaker hasn’t commented on the charges or been seen in public since an indictment against him was unveiled Thursday. It remains unclear whether Hastert has retained an attorney.
