Stephen Colbert had MSNBC host Dylan Ratigan on his show last night, and asked him: “Are you the guy who gets the faxed talking points from the White House every day, or does that go straight to Rachel [Maddow]?”
After Ratigan railed against Wall Street power in Congress for a little while, Colbert pointed out that Ratigan had previously worked for “Fast Money” on CNBC. Ratigan said that in 2008 after the financial collapse, he realized “it’s my mother’s money they’re gambling with in effect.”
Colbert asked: “It occurred to you in 2008 that people were watching out of that little box over there?” He added: “Oh my god, wires come out of it and people do things based upon my advice!”
