Stephen Colbert was pleased to report last night that Fox News and the Republican party have made their union official, following revelations that News Corp., Fox’s parent company, donated $1 million to the Republican Governors Association.
“They’ve always played it so coy,” Colbert said, and claimed “just to be ‘Fox and Friends.’ Everyone knows they’re ‘Fox and Friends With Benefits.’ You know what they say, ‘Good girls don’t, but Doocy do.'”
Colbert added that “you know the wedding’s going to be beautiful — of course, all white.” He also had this message for the happy couple: “If you are ever tempted to call it quits, remember you’ve got to stay together for your giant baby,” Karl Rove.
