Police say seven people were killed and at least 21 others were injured after a shooting in the cities of Midland and Odessa in Texas.
Odessa Police Chief Michael Gerke confirmed on Saturday that the alleged shooter, who has been identified as a white man in his 30s, was killed by the police.
According to the authorities, the gunman shot at random from his van, then hijacked a U.S. Postal Service vehicle and continued his shooting spree.
President Donald Trump tweeted Saturday night that law enforcement was “fully engaged” with regards to the shooting.
Just briefed by Attorney General Barr about the shootings in Texas. FBI and Law Enforcement is fully engaged. More to follow.
