Democratic president candidate Joe Biden, aka the guy who isn’t president, had a fairly important reminder for President Donald Trump on Tuesday night after the latter bizarrely attacked him during a town hall for not implementing a national mask mandate amid COVID-19.

“To be clear: I am not currently president,” Biden tweeted with a video of Trump’s strange deflection when a town hall participant in Philadelphia asked him why he didn’t support a mask mandate.

The President said he wears a mask “when I have to,” then suddenly switched to an attack against Democrats on the issue.

“They said at the Democrat convention they’re going to do a national mandate. They never did it, because they’ve checked out and they didn’t do it,” Trump told the town hall member. “And a good question is, you ask why Joe Biden…they said we’re going to do a national mandate on masks.”

When ABC News anchor George Stephanopoulos, who was moderating the event, pointed out that Biden has in fact called on governors to implement a mask mandate, Trump falsely replied “Well no, but he didn’t do it. I mean, he never did it.”

The President’s comments befuddled other people as well:
