The President’s press secretary admitted to misleading reporters about the rationale for former FBI Director James Comey’s firing. His former national security adviser revealed Trump asked him to find Hillary Clinton’s deleted emails. The White House’s top lawyer characterized Trump’s demands as “crazy shit.”

Whether President Trump is embarrassed or feeling betrayed, he’s shifted his tone on special counsel Robert Mueller’s report.

Just after the redacted report was released on Thursday, President Trump responded with a befuddling meme, claiming there was “no collusion, no obstruction.” Since Attorney General Bill Barr gave Congress his assessment of the report, Trump has been claiming legal vindication and “total exoneration.”

But on Friday, Trump changed his tune, suggesting all of the statements made about him in the “Crazy Mueller Report” are “fabricated and totally untrue” and “total bullshit,” despite the fact that all the witnesses’ claims were made under penalty of perjury.
